What does Novella mean?
novella is a narrative prose fiction whose length is shorter than most novels, but longer than most short stories. The English word novella derives from the Italian novella meaning a short story related to true facts.
How is Novella relevant for Disability?
For us Novella is about supporting the participant to write their life story, one day at a time.
How many chapters we support them for is up to them, but we see it as we are not here for them in the short term, a short story or crisis response, and we are not necessarily required for ever, a Novel, we see our purpose is to support them for the next chapters in their life and until they can continue their story without us.
